From The Austin American-Statesman: The Eanes (Texas) district has failed to win approval of a bond package totaling $149.5 million. Three propositions were defeated: A $72 million request to purchase school buses and to buy, construct, renovate and equip school buildings; a $57 million plan to renovate elementary schools and to build a campus to replace Valley View Elementary School; and a $20.5 million proposal fo a swim center and a student fitness and activity facility.
