Pennsylvania university is building research park

East Stroudsburg (Pa.) University's Center for Research and Economic Development plans to build a 51,000-square-foot research and technology park in Smithfield Township. The three-story, glass and brick facilityi will offer 11,000 square feet — in the form of office space and wet labs — for 12 to 15 startups. It also will house such programs as the Northeast Wildlife DNA Laboratory and the Cyber Crime and Forensics Institute. The university expects the facility will be complete by September.
