Edgewood (Texas) district will close middle school in two years

Truman Middle will shut down at the end of 2010-11 year
From The San Antonio Express-News: The Edgewood (Texas) Independent School District plans to close Truman Middle School in two years. The closing is because of continued declining enrollment. Edgewood officials closed four elementary schools at the end of the 2004-05 year. To meet parents halfway, the district backed away from a proposal to close Truman at the end of this school year. Instead, the district will close the campus at the end of the 2010-11 year so that this year's sixth-graders can finish their middle school years there.
