Voters approve a $36.3 million bond package

TheEdmond (Okla.) school district has won approval of a $36.2 million bond package. Voters approved a $35.4 million proposition that calls for the construction of new classrooms at three elementary schools. Funds also will be used to build additions at a high school and a middle school. A second proposition, for $800,000, will enable the district to buy new buses. The first proposition, for $35.4 million, would be used mostly for new construction: building classroom additions at three elementary schools, a two-story addition at Edmond North High School and an addition to Central Middle School’s media center. The second proposition, for $800,000, would be used to buy new buses.
