Edmond (Okla.) district seeks bond funds for new elementary

$35 million request also includes money for renovations, technology upgrades

From The Edmond Sun: The Edmond (Okla.) school board has set a bond election for Nov. 8 in the amount of $35.54 million. The bonds would pay for construction of a $15 million elementary school and other facility improvements. Boulevard Academy, the oldest school in use in the district, would receive $3 million in renovations; $2.9 million will go toward the purchase and installation of computer technology. Nine schools would get video surveillance and security equipment. Four elementary schools will receive additional classrooms.
