Study says states should be making better use of student data

From The Washington Post: A new study says that although all 50 states and Washington, D.C., have collected large amounts of academic data for every public school child, many states are not sharing the information with teachers and parents adequately or using it to improve classroom learning. The study was done by the Data Quality Campaign, an advocacy group funded in part by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
