Site approved despite concern about odor, traffic.

The Clark County (Nev.) district will build an elementary school less than half a mile from a North Las Vegas pig farm. The North Las Vegas City Council has agreed to allow the district to build the school near R.C. Farms, home to thousands of swine. Some neighbors have expressed concerns about children attending school so close to the pig farm because of the objectionable and sometimes overpowering smell. Council members and neighbors say they are more concerned about potential traffic problems.
