Project will double the size of Runkle Elementary

From The Brookline Tab: Brookline, Mass., has broken ground on an addition and renovation project at Runkle Elementary School. The project includes a 51,315-square-foot addition that will replace the 1988 wing in the rear of the building. The original school building, which was built in 1963, will be renovated. Runkle will serve 560 students from pre-K through eighth grade and have 102,900 square feet once the project is finished. The school will be when the project is complete.
