Ohio district passes bonds for new high school

The Elyria (Ohio) school district has won approval of a $45 million bond request that will enable construction of a new high school. Three times since 2001, voters have rejected bond proposals for a new high school. The state of Ohio will provide $23 million in funding for the $68 million project. The new school will be built on the site of the existing campus.
