Sangre de Cristo district facility will cut energy costs by 80%

From The Denver Post: The Sangre de Cristo School District in Mosca, Colo., has replaced its boxy, drafty K-12 facility with an 80,000-square-foot campus that officials say is one of the state's most energy-efficient structures. The new school is reducing energy costs by as much as 80 percent. The school was built with funds from a $4 million bond approved by voters and a $14 million grant from the Colorado Department of Education's Building Excellent Schools Today program. The architect is Klipp and Hutton Architecture Studio.
