Escondido (Calif.) district moves into new administration center

After years of renting, elementary district acquires a permanent home for its administration

The Escondido (Calif.) elementary school district is moving into a home of its own on the west side of town after years of leasing space. The Escondido Union School District bought a former manufacturing plant last year after the school board decided it would be more cost-effective to buy than continue to rent. The district has been paying rent for 17 years.
