FromThe Portland Oregonian: Thieves have stolen 47 laptop computers from Howard Elementary School in Eugene, Ore. The theft is the second in the last year at the school, which offers a high-tech immersion program. The stolen machines were those that first- and second-graders used in their classrooms.
