Allen Swayze convicted of stealing funds from school account

From The Detroit News: A former Detroit Public Schools bookkeeper has been sentenced to serve 14 months in prison for stealing district funds. Allen Swayze, 34, also must pay $148,773 in restitution.While working as a bookkeeper at the Breithaupt Career and Technical Center between August 2006 and May 2009, Swayze allegedly wrote fraudulent checks drawn on the school's bank account and depositing them in his bank accounts.
