Expansion planned for Kentucky Catholic school

Performing arts center, athletic upgrades at Notre Dame Academy

Notre Dame Academy in Park Hills, Ky., will break ground later this year on an 8,500-square-foot arts performing arts center. The school also will add an eight-lane outdoor track, a synthetic turf field, tennis courts and an additional parking lot. Renovations to the existing building will include a new band room, choral room, costume shop, art room and three acoustic practice rooms. All the upgrades are projected to cost $10 million. The architect is Rick Wolnitzek.
