New elementary school is being built in Geneva, Ill.

TheGeneva (Ill.) school district is building Fabyan Elementary School, which is expected to open for the 2009-2010 year. The 103,500-square-foot building is organized along a "student street" main corridor with grade level academic wings to the north and shared and public use spaces to the south, opening up to playgrounds and fields. The academic wings are angled to capture northern light in grade level commons areas. The architect is FGM Architects.
