Bond will pay for upgrades in Fairbanks, Alaska

From The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner: Voters in the Fairbanks (Alaska) North Star Borough district have approved a plan to spend $11.95 million on major maintenance projects in five schools.


Earlier from The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner: The Fairbanks (Alaska) North Star Borough district is asking voters on Oct. 6 to approve a $11.95 million bond request. The money would pay for construction work at two high schools and three elementary schools. The proposed projects include lighting and energy-efficiency upgrades at Weller Elementary and North Pole High schools, maintenance work at Lathrop High School, and repairing exterior siding, doors and windows at Badger Road Elementary.
