Obama administration wants junk food out of schools

From The New York Times: The Obama administration is beginning a drive to expel junk food from the nation’s schools in hopes of reducing the number of children who get fat during their school years. Proposed legislation would ban candy and sugary beverages from schools, and many schools would be required to offer more nutritious fare.
