Enrollment boom puts Florida community colleges at breaking point

From Florida Capital News: The recession is sending the unemployed streaming back to school, and Florida's community colleges are at the breaking point, officials say. The system grew by 41,000 students between 2007 and 2008. This year, the system expects to absorb 66,566 students. Next year, enrollment is expected to climb by 70,000 students.
