Sodexo agrees to pay $1.7 million lost last school year

From The Columbus Dispatch: Sodexo, the company that provides students' meals in Columbus (Ohio) public schools, will pay the district $1.7 million to cover operating losses in the lunch and breakfast programs last school year. Sodexo was required to hold the district harmless if the programs lost money last school year, but the company and the district couldn't agree on the amount of the loss until this week. The district initially calculated the loss at $2.4 million; Sodexo put it at $512,000. The negotiations have held up the renewal of Sodexo's $13 million contract for the current school year.
