Former music industry executive gives $6 million to Ohio State University

Gift will help renovate campus building, create new center

From The Columbus Dispatch: A former music-industry executive has pledged $6 million to support arts education at Ohio State University in Columbus. The gift from Lawrence “Larry” Barnett will create a center to integrate business teaching into the arts curriculum. It also will be used to renovate Sullivant Hall, which is to reopen next year with new gallery spaces, a performance area and theater.
