Former secretary accused of stealing $66,000 from Texas district

From The Austin American-Statesman: Police have arrested a woman who allegedly stole more than $66,000 from the Georgetown (Texas) school district athletic department. Ollie Ann Pool, 53, who worked as athletic secretary for the school district, has been charged with theft. Pool had worked for the district since 2003 and was placed on unpaid administrative leave in August, after the district discovered that proceeds from athletic events were missing, Pool was fired on Monday.
