Former technology chief in Dallas convicted of taking bribes

Administrator steered contracts to computer vendor

A jury has convicted the Dallas school district's former technology boss and a computer vendor of bribery and money laundering charges. Ruben Bohuchot, the former district administrator, was found guilty on 13 counts and Frankie Wong, whose company won millions of dollars in district contracts, was found guility on 10 counts. Prosecutors presented evidence that Bohuchot steered two multimillion-dollar contracts to Wong in return for cash, rounds of golf, meals, trips and dozens of deep-sea outings.
