Fort Worth will build middle school at old high school site

News release: The Fort Worth (Texas) district is building a middle school on the former site of Handley High School. The 162,000-square-foot school will have 26 classrooms, including science and computer labs. It will have two gymnasiums, a weight and fitness area, and an outdoor athletic field. The design of the new school will stay true to the architectural traditions of the old Handley High School, which was built in 1922. The architect is WRA Architects.
