The Franklin Pierce (Wash.)
district is asking voters on March 11 to approve a $78.5 million bond
request. The projects covered in the proposal include constructing a
$13.2 million 30,000-square-foot community center that would be used as
a preschool during school hours; adding auxiliary gyms at two middle
schools; and replacing at least one of the 1960s-era modular buildings that house the district’s administrative staff.
