Suspended fraternity sues Miami University in Ohio

From The Cincinnati Enquirer: A suspended fraternity has sued Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, contending that university officials acted recklessly and maliciously when they imposed the punishment. The leaders of the Phi Kappa Tau chapter at Miami say the suspension interferes with the fraternity’s business operations, unfairly burdens student members and violates the members’ constitutional rights. School officials suspended the fraternity last week after Oxford police found marijuana and large amounts of fireworks in the Phi Kappa Tau house. Police responding to a fire alarm found students from Phi Kappa Tau and Sigma Alpha Epsilon, a neighboring fraternity, shooting fireworks at one another.
