South Dakota district seeks funds for new elementary

Voters in the Freeman (S.D.) district have passed a $3.98 million bond issue that will help pay for a new elementary school. The $6.2 million, 49,000-square-foot elementary school, is slated to open in fall 2009. It would adjoin the junior/senior high school and would include 15 classrooms.
