$15.2 million project at Santa Fe College will add 37,000 square feet to campus

News release: Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Fla., is building a fine arts facility. The $15.2 million, 37,500-square-foot building will be the focus for the dance, music, theatre and the visual arts on campus. The facility will have a 606-seat auditorium for musical, dance, and theatrical performances, large multi-purpose classroom for use as dance studio, reception hall or performance space, and high-end audiovisual, theatrical lighting and rigging equipment. The architect is Zeidler Partnership, and the builder is Danis.
