Kathy Cox will take a job with a nonprofit organization in Washington
FromThe Atlanta Journal-Constitution: Georgia State Schools Superintendent Kathy Cox is abandoning plans to run for a third term and will head to Washington, D.C., to run a new national education nonprofit. Cox will leave her post to run the U.S. Education Delivery Institute. The organization will help states develop strategies for improving student achievement.
