Gilroy (Calif.) district plans $150 million bond request

Trustees in the Gilroy (Calif.) Unified School District have informally voted to place a $150 million general obligation bond on the Nov. 4 ballot. The bond will be used to fund the district's facilities needs, which include the ongoing construction of Christopher High School, modernization of aging facilities and other infrastructure upgrades.
