27,000 Google Chromebook computers heading to schools

From CNET.com: Three school districts have decided to acquire large numbers of Google's Chromebook laptop computers. Richland (S.C.) School District Two will use 19,000 Chromebooks; Council Bluffs (Iowa) Community School District plans to use 2,800 at its high schools and 1,500 in middle school; and Leyden (Ill.) Community High School District outside Chicago plans to deploy 3,500.
