Green Building Council creates Center for Green Schools

Group will advocate for energy efficiency and environmentally friendly school facilities

News release: The U.S. Green Building Council says it is creating a center to focus on sustainable design and construction of school facilities. The Center for Green Schools at USGBC “will lead hundreds of schools across the nation to becoming green and more energy efficient and will help build hundreds of LEED-registered education projects in the next few years.”
