Haldane (N.Y.) district approves bond

Voters in theHaldane (N.Y.) school district have approved a $2.3 million bond to pay for replacing the main building's roof and related repairs. The project had been scaled back from an original $10 million plan, which had included replacing an aging heating system, and focused on immediate repairs to the district's main building, a 1930s structure.
