Harvard's new president is the first woman to hold the job

Harvard University's two governing boards have approved the selection of Drew Gilpin Faust as the school's 28th president. Faust, 59, will take the reins on July 1 and says she will encourage more collaboration across the institution. She is the first woman to lead Harvard, the oldest university in the United States, founded in 1636.
