Judge in Texas throws out default judgment against fraternity

A judge inTexas has reversed a $16.2 million default judgment against the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity in connection with the 2006 death of a freshman pledge at the University of Texas. The judgment was made after local and national fraternity chapters failed to respond to a lawsuit filed against them by the parents of Tyler Cross, who fell to his death after allegedly being subjected to hazing.
