The Nixa (Mo.) school district has opened High Pointe Elementary School. The $8.5 million, 71,500-square-foot facility occupies half of a 40-acre site in the northeast section of the district. A future school building will be constructed on the south half of the property. High Pointe will house about 365 K-4 students its first year, and has the potential to hold as many as 600 students. The architect is Sapp Design Associates.
