High School Roof Collapses on Christmas Day

Olympia (Wash.) School District officials are working with city and structural engineers to clean up debris from a roof collapse at one of the district's high schools on Christmas Day. About 2,500 square feet of roof caved in under the weight of snow, ice and water from recent storms. The school's 1,450 students were scheduled to return from winter break Jan. 5.
