Independence (Mo.) district wins approval of $85 million bond

From The Kansas City Star: Independence (Mo.) School District voters have approved an $85 million bond issue. The money will pay to build two new elementary schools and renovate other district facilities.

SEPTEMBER 2009....from The Kansas City Star: Voters in the Independence (Mo.) School District will decide the fate of an $85 million school bond proposal on Nov. 3. If approved, the money would pay for construction of  two new elementary schools as well as the remodeling and renovation of existing district facilities.
