A 16-year-old student at Penn High School in Mishawaka, Ind., is being held on charges that he was planning a Columbine-like mass murder at the school. On Tuesday, a Penn resource officer discovered the student was on an Internet site discussing his support for the "Columbine shooters." While executing a search warrant on the student's home, police recovered more than 100 knives, and animal control officers seized several illegal and dangerous snakes.
