City probe says owners of computer consulting company allegedly padded bills

From The New York Daily News: New York City investigators allege that the owners of a computer consulting business defrauded the city's school system of at least $6.5 million. The city's Office of the Special Commissioner of Investigation says Future Technology Associates flagrantly violated contracts and lied about its dealings. Company owners Jonathan Krohe and Tamer Sevintuna have been accused of padding bills through a subcontracting company they also owned. Investigators also contend that Krohe had an affair with the city school official who was supposed to oversee the consulting contract. The findings of the investigation have been turned over to the Manhattan U.S. attorney and the Manhattan district attorney.
