50 employees in Irving (Texas) district may be victims of identity theft

Irving, Texas, police are investigating the identity theft of more than 50 people associated with the Irving school district. Among the victims are current and former employees and their relatives. Police and school district officials are trying to determine how thieves obtained the information. Police arrested a woman last month after she tried to open a Sears credit card account. She was using a fake ID bearing the name of a teacher at Elliott Elementary.
