Housing crunch forces upper-level students out of dorms

Hundreds of upper-level students at Illinois State University in Normal face being forced out of their residence halls in a university housing crunch that has set off protests. University officials say the new policy is necessary because the campus is undergoing reconstruction and student housing space is being cut. Two residence halls are being torn down to make way for a recreation center, and another will be closed for renovations.
