Parents forced to wait for hours at Jefferson Parish (La.) school registration

Scores of parents had to wait in temperatures exceeding 90 degrees to sign up their children for Jefferson Parish public schools' new term, which begins Aug. 13. registration was held at individual campuses., but this year, officials assembled two central locations for registration.
