Jerome (Idaho) district seeks bond approval

From The Twin Falls Times-News: Jerome (Idaho) School District voters will decide in May whether to approve a $15.8 million bond proposal that would pay for remodeling and additions to the community's high school. Officials say improvements to the high school facility are needed because the student population has grown close to 1,000 students. New state science requirements for high school students also are affecting the need for more space. The high school, built in the mid-1970s, was designed originally for about 650 students. Eight classrooms were added in 1990 when enrollment grew beyond 800 students.
