From The Atlanta Journal-Constitution: A Barrow County, Ga., judge has ruled against a former teacher who lost her job because of a Facebook posting. Ashley Payne had sued to get her job back. Payne resigned from her job at Apalachee High School in Winder, Ga., in August 2009 after someone complained about photographs of Payne smiling while holding alcoholic drinks during a trip to Europe. Payne says she was pressured to resign over the email, but the district says her departure was voluntary.
