Itawamba Agricultural High School cancelled dance rather than let lesbian couple attend
From The Jackson Clarion-Ledger: A judge has denied 18-year-old high school senior Constance McMillen's request to reinstate the prom at her Mississippi high school. But the judge says it is clear to him that the Itawamba County school district violated McMillen's First Amendment rights when it cancelled the dance at Itawamba Agricultural High School rather than allow McMillen, a lesbian, to attend with her girlfriend.
