District relents on insisting student apologize to Kansas governor

From The Kansas City Star: Officials in the Shawnee Mission (Kan.) School district have decided that they will not force a high school senior to apologize to Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback for an insulting message about him that she posted on Twitter. Brownback's staff found Emma Sullivan's message and complained to school officials, who at first insisted that the student apologize.
