3 top administrators are leaving Kansas City (Mo.) district
Board members complain that Missouri education commissioner is undermining district stability
From The Kansas City Star: At least three top administrators in the Kansas City (Mo.) district are leaving their jobs. The district’s chiefs in finance, academics and curriculum are on their way out, Interim Superintendent Steve Green says. The development was particularly distressing to school board members who believe that Missouri Education Commissioner Chris Nicastro, whether intentional or not, has stirred panic among top staffers. Board members are troubled by discussions Nicastro has had with the district’s administrative team, advising them that dramatic changes may be coming as the district becomes unaccredited.
