Success in kindergarten may have long-term benefits

From The New York Times: A child’s success in kindergarten may have long-range benefits, a new study indicates. Researchers say that students who had learned much more in kindergarten were more likely to go to college than students with otherwise similar backgrounds; were less likely to become single parents; were more likely as adults to be saving for retirement; and were earning more.
