From The Knoxville News Sentinel: The condition of Inskip Elementary School Principal Elisa Luna has been upgraded to serious, according to the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Luna, 39, was shot multiple times, allegedly by a disgruntled fourth-grade teacher. Luna had been in critical condition. Also wounded multiple times during the shooting was Assistant Principal Amy Brace, 40, who is in stable condition.

A complaint had been lodged against Mark Foster, 48, a fourth-grade teacher. Records also show other students had complained that the Foster had told them to shut up.As a result of last week's incident, advised him not to abuse the children for any stress he was under, records show. Foster is accused of shooting principal Elisa Luna and Assistant Principal Amy Brace. Luna was in critical condition at the University of Tennessee Medical Center and Brace was listed in stable condition.
A teacher at Inskip Elementary School in Knoxville, Tenn., has been charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder in the shootings of the school's principal and assistant principal. Fourth-grade teacher Mark Stephen Foster, 48, was taken into custody minutes after the shootings. Principal Elisa Luna and Assistant Principal Amy Brace were shot in the school office area at 12:49 p.m. Wednesday, about an hour after classes were dismissed early because of snow showers.
Luna is in critical condition at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, and Brace is stable, a hospital spokesman says.
