Texas district seeks $24.4 million bond

Voters in the La Vega (Texas) school district will decide on Nov. 3 whether to approve a $24.4 million bond proposal. The money would enable the district to pay for construction of a new intermediate school campus and several upgrades at the district's high school: science lab additions, a library expansion and improvements to the cafeteria and kitchen.
